Now Set for European Launch with Innovative Leisure

The 2025 IAAPA Expo in Orlando saw a standout success story with the debut of the Battle Bar, an energetic new competitive attraction from Spectrum Sports International. Throughout the week, the Battle Bar drew significant crowds, with operators, FEC owners, and attraction developers lining up to experience the high-intensity, player-versus-player challenge.

Positioned prominently in the outdoor area of the international trade show, the Battle Bar quickly became one of the most talked-about new products of the Expo. The combination of athletic competition, fast throughput, and a visually striking design made it a natural magnet for attendees. IAAPA visitors praised its blend of physical engagement and social play—two trends dominating today’s active entertainment and adventure-play markets.

A Show Floor Favourite

The Battle Bar features two participants facing off on adjacent pull up bars. They are harnessed & then elevated nearly 20ft in the air, attempting to outlast each other, with timers counting down so not only are you trying to outlast your opponent, but operators can also create a leader board for an overall ‘Hang Tough Champion’. When you let go, the safety system lowers participants safely back down to the ground utilising an auto-belay system. The experience is designed to deliver big-impact fun in a small footprint, making it an attractive option for mobile event operators, public relations events, adventure parks, visitor attractions & leisure venues looking to expand their competitive active play offerings.

At IAAPA, operators highlighted how quickly the attraction drew attention. As noted by one show attendee.

The Battle Bar had a constant crowd, It’s competitive, it’s physical, and it’s extremely fun to watch—exactly what modern attractions need to be

Its visual theatre-complete with bright theming, strong sightlines, and a spectator-friendly layout-made an ideal attraction for venues that rely on repeat play and group engagement.

Innovative Leisure Brings Battle Bar to Europe
