Innovative Leisure’s largest Sky Trail high ropes course at The Tees Barrage International White Water venue has welcomed 10,000 participants in just 4 months.
The high ropes course at Tees Barrage is Innovative Leisure’s largest installed attraction. Built on a peninsula in the middle of River Tees and standing at 17m tall, it is hard to miss. The new addition has been funded in conjunction with Stockton Borough Council on a ‘spend to save’ investment scheme.
Newly opened in February, this now complements the existing offering of adventurous activities. With over 1,500 participants during its first week of operation and 10,000 in the first 4 months it is expected to generate over £100,000 in surplus each year, while substantially increasing visitor numbers to Tees Barrage and the surrounding area.
Tees Barrage consists of Sky Trail Explorer, Sky Tykes and the UK’s first Sky Rails, the latest in zip line technology.
