Euro Attractions Show and Leisure Industry Week Round Up

In the blink of an eye it’s all over. In the space of just two weeks Innovative Leisure have exhibited at two of Europe’s largest trade exhibitions, no small feat given the size and scale of our presence at both shows.

First up was the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in Paris and the European debut of the Sky Tykes junior ropes course. Never satisfied to do things by half Team Innovative Leisure built the Sky Tykes course, with considerable help from our European partners Faszinatour, in just two days to be ready for the opening of the show.

The three days proved to be immensely busy for the team with a huge interest in our entire product range and in particular the Sky Tykes and Sky Trail ropes courses. In addition to the high visitor numbers to the show the team also managed to spend some time with more than thirty potential customers we arranged to sit down with prior to the show. The only downside to such busy days was the fact that we were unable to get out and see much of what Paris had to offer in the evenings but we did make the ALES evening drinks reception which offered another good opportunity to do some networking.

Overall the show was one of the best EAS shows Innovative Leisure has ever had.

As EAS closed at the end of Friday the team hot footed it back across the Channel to ensure they were on site Saturday morning to begin the even bigger task of setting up for Leisure Industry Week (LIW). With a Sky Trail High Ropes Course and another Sky Tykes to be built the team worked tirelessly to ensure everything was ready for Tuesday morning. In addition we also had a Mobile Climbing Wall, a Mobile Zip Line and two Inflatable Water Wars units to set up too meaning Innovative Leisure dominated the Play and Attractions area of the show.

All the hard work paid off as Innovative Leisure enjoyed another hugely successful week. Attendee numbers were good and we made some really positive contacts as well as catching up with some existing customers. We also enjoyed the chance to entertain members of the National Farm Attractions Network by hosting a drinks reception on Wednesday evening.

It was a hard couple of weeks but we’d like to thank everyone who made the effort to come and see us at the shows. The success of both shows means we’re already planning our stands for 2014.
