Universe Science Park, Denmark has unveiled an exciting new expansion to its renowned Sky Trail high ropes course. Introducing the first twin parallel zip rail experience in Europe.
Developed in partnership with Innovative Leisure (UK) and Ropes Courses Inc in the USA, the expansion pushes the boundaries of what’s possible within modern aerial attractions.
This latest development marks the second major expansion of the Sky Trail course since its original launch in 2017 a milestone that reflects a long-term strategy and forward-thinking design.
Even back then, we designed the foundations with future growth in mind and it`s incredible to see that vision pay off once again
said Jonas Luttermann, COO of Universe Science Park.
From the outset, the goal was clear: Create a bigger, more exciting, and more dynamic experience for guests.
Universe asked me to visit in May 2025 to talk about how the course could be expanded to add a new level of experience… The brief was to add something more exciting, something bigger. Zipping was already a very popular aspect so we focused on much more of that…
Phil Pickergill, Innovative Leisure’s Managing Director explained:
The first installation in Europe featuring twin parallel zip rails:
Guests launch from the third level of the Sky Trail structure, at a height of 12 metres, before returning to the second level, creating a dynamic multi-level experience that adds both thrill and visual impact.
The outcome is the first of its type in Europe… The final attraction is a credit to all involved.
said Innovative Leisure’s Managing Director.
Jonas Lutterman praised the partnership:
It’s been a fantastic collaboration… the expertise, dedication, and teamwork made all the difference.
Designed for Families, Built for Scale
The Sky Trail safety system allows for overtaking which avoids bottlenecks increasing the experience & throughput. Parents and children from 1 metre can experience the attraction together.
