Great to see the Sky Trail High Ropes Course at The Quest, Merry Hill getting some coverage after their media day earlier this week.

The four level course really isn’t one for the faint of heart so it takes some nerve to navigate the 17 metre high installation all in the name of getting a good story.

We particularly liked this reaction;

Having taken to rock climbing and abseiling like a duck to water in my teenaged years and more recently having re-lived that a little on outings to woodland adventure course Go Ape – I thought the Quest high ropes course, which is the highest of its kind in Europe, would be a breeze.

But as I made my way up on a variety of Indiana Jones style rope bridges and circus-like tightropes to the highest corner of the glass-fronted mall’s roof space – my heart was in mouth and my palms were sweating”

Great to know the Sky Trail can give even the most confident and daring people the thrill they’re looking for.

It wasn’t only the media getting involved. One teacher, elected by his students to test his never on the course as part of a fundraising initiative chose to complete part of the course blindfolded whilst they fired at him with toy guns. A great effort and congratulations to Rufford Primary School for all the money raised.
